Xbox controllers work out of the box on Windows. PS3 controllers seem to work out of the box on Mac. A bunch of games with support for lots of players require all DirectInput or they seem to get confused. But unless the game is hip and modern and manually senses some of the controllers as DirectInput, I'm totally out of luck with this setup. I have 4 PS3 controllers, that I often spoof as XInput through a Bluetooth receiver. I have 4 360 controllers, one wired and 3 wireless through an official wireless receiver.
